About Stòr Cùram: aims of the project
Stòr Cùram is an educational development project funded by the Scottish Institute for Excellence in Social Work Education from October 2003 till July 2005.
Led by the University of Strathclyde - in partnership with the University of Edinburgh and the Robert Gordon University - Stòr Cùram is a national project creating a resource for all nine Scottish HEIs involved in social work education.
The project aims to:
- Establish a learning object repository, or web-based library of learning resources, for social work educators delivering the new social work degree.
- Populate the repository with learning objects including fifty newly developed high-quality, multi-media conceptual and case-based digital learning resources for the new social work curriculum.
- Advise and support social work educators in order to enhance their skills and understanding and enable them to effectively embed e-learning into the social work curriculum.
